National Programme Officer (NPO)
(Full-time position: 100%)

Scope of work: Under the general guidance of the Head of Mission and Cooperation, the NPO is responsible for the overall planning, management and monitoring of programmes of the Swiss Cooperation in topics related to public health and social issues. The NPO is actively engaged in the policy dialogue, coordinating and networking with ministries, other governmental authorities, civil society organizations and international organizations.

Requirements:
•University degree in Social Science or related field; Public Health is an advantage
•At least 5 years of relevant professional working experience in international development cooperation if possible with focus on public health or social issues;
•Experience in project management and in transition and development context
•Interest and excellent knowledge of Albania’s economic, political and social context;
•Strong analytical, synthetic capacity and excellent writing skills required;
•Outstanding organizational skills;
•Good negotiating and communicational skills;
•Proven capacity and willingness to work in a team oriented way;
•Proven capacity to deal with stress and work related pressure;
•Outstanding command of English and Albanian required – knowledge of French and/or German is a plus.
