The Store Manager works in the shop floor. He is in a constant contact with customers and staff. Ensuring their staff gives great customer service as well as dealing with the financial side of the store and people management.

Duties:
•Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability;
•Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development;
•Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met;
•Responding to customer complaints and comments;
•Organizing special promotions, displays and events;
•Attending and chairing meetings;
•Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
•Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers and identifying or resolving urgent issues;
•Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives;
•Dealing with sales, as and when required.

Other Job Functions:
-Participates in any training program in and out the country
-Ensures all the required reports

Qualifications and Skills:
-Education: University Degree, preferably in business related fields
-Work Experiences: At least 3-5 years’ work experience in similar trading company

Additional qualifications:
-Mobility – the job entails frequent travel
-Must be able to use MS Office applications – Word, Outlook, and Excel to a competent standard
