Infrastructure and Security Administrator

Overall Job Definitions:
As an Infrastructure and Security Administrator at ikubINFO you will help design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain the IT Infrastructure (server and virtualization administration, enterprise level monitoring, networking etc.). You will also be part of the Information Security team, and will be responsible for designing, configuring and monitoring security system infrastructure and security policies.

Being a very good team player with excellent communication skills and the willingness to learn and be dedicated to finding the best solution for the job at hand, complete the profile of the person we are looking for.

Main responsibilities:
• Standard system administration duties including server install, System/Application install and patch management, Windows problem determination and resolution, log analysis, etc.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to server and network topology, equipment, and configuration(s).
• Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring solutions regarding infrastructure components.
• Provide oversight of security policies, procedures and standards related to Information
• Security required by the ISO 27001 standard; assist in the creation and maintenance of the policies, procedures, and standards, as requested.
• Provide support/training for all workforce members related to Information Security and provide periodic security reminders.

Competencies / Skills:
• University degree in computer science or similar.
• At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator / Information Security Specialist or equivalent positions.
• Proficiency in Windows Server 2008 R2/ 2012/ 2012 R2 Operating Platforms, SAN/NAS Storage, Backup and Recovery, and Server Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of systems administration, and in-depth experience in a Microsoft based computing environment.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring technologies, and principles and systems such as SNMP, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager.
• Experience with procedures and standards related to Information Security required by the ISO 27001 standard.
• Experience in the creation and maintenance of the policies, procedures, and standards, as requested
• Certifications (for system/infrastructure management or security) will be considered a plus.
