We are looking for candidates for the position of CHIEF ACCOUNTANT located in Tirana, Albania. BAT Albania is one of the 9 entities within the Central Europe Cluster (CEC), all bonded by a unique strategy and a strong team mindset that nurtures diversity as one of the key strengths of our winning organization. Role holders principal accountabilities: Responsible for Period End in our group system SAP, included all the reports and accurate accruals on monthly basses. All SAP processes should be performed as per the Group Requirements. Responsible for preparation of yearly statutory accounts (P&L, BS, CF, Equity and notes) to according to IFRS, including recommendation, approval and declaration of dividends, calculation and filing of Corporate Tax. Responsible to provide all the requested information to external and internal auditors and also for tax audits, preparing the data for preliminary and final audit work. Prepare monthly financial reports as per the timetable. Check and authorize computation/payment of monthly taxes, VAT return, Social Security Contributions, Income Tax, WTAX returns as per set deadlines. Responsible for tax compliance. Create awareness of finance related issues throughout the company to all staff. Responsible to follow up all the Finance Directors check list and make sure that all the processes are performed as per the group requirements. Responsible to check the SAP utilization deck and ensure that it is compliant with group requirements. Responsible for Cash Flow preparation using the direct and indirect method. Make the relevant proposal to the Finance Manager to finance the business activity. Responsible for credit management as per the group guidelines.
