Data Administrator and Database Developer Officer – Software Development and Application Management Department/ IT Division

Overall job definition:
Ensures core banking system functionality support, having a high level of functional and database knowledge and expertise.
Responsible for BF Midas error reporting, fix testing and implementation. Regular communication with RBI-AST about CBS fixes status and expectation, expected delivery dates, testing results, etc.
Provides support to business through in-depth knowledge of core system, finds solutions and workarounds for daily enquires.
Participation in analysis of technical requirements, implementation of data models and development through relational database capabilities.
Responsible for the local maintenance and support of the important software products and data interfaces – Midas BankFusion, MMM, Digital Banking, EWS for non-retail, UMA, SABRE, STP Payments, Swift Filtering, Behavior Scorecard, Sales Force Efficiency (SFE) etc.

Main responsibilities:
•Provides first level support for incidents/ problems related to CBS functionality
•Investigate and solve accordingly functional issues reported by users.
•Close contact with RI IT/AST support, regarding Midas CBS issues. Keep the communication for new features implementation, error reporting, fix testing, API developments and API problems.
•Responsible for analysis and design, development, maintenance for the following applications and interfaces:
-Behavior Scorecard Datamart
-GL Account Opening
-Sales Force Efficiency (SFE)
-MMM
•Perform data administration tasks in Midas BF, creating and maintaining local tables, views, indexes, constraints and setting up configuration values.
•Participate in testing phase of projects by preparing test cases, analyzing testing results, maintain test systems, supports other departments during testing phase.
•Participate in the following steps of development process
-Technical & functional requirements analysis
-Data model implementation
-Database development
-Component testing and fixing
-Strict documentation of data flow
-Preparation of technical & handover documentation
•Report development progress and issues which may affect delivery as scheduled
•Designs complex reports according to Bank departments requirements.
•Keeps track of data structure changes and mapping through accurate documentation

Competencies / Skills:
•University degree, in Computer Science or relevant fields
•At least 2 year of experience in data integration & database development. Previous experience with financial systems/ data models is preferable.
•In depth knowledge of relational databases concepts
•Very good knowledge of programming language expertise (T-SQL, PL-SQL)
•Good knowledge of main database engines Oracle , DB2, SQL Server
•Knowledge and experience on reporting techniques and tools
•Knowledge on data integration and related tools IBM Data Stage/ODI/SQL Server SSIS
•Practical and analytical skills
•Very good communication skills
•Very good knowledge in written and spoken English
