The ProCredit group aims to combine high development impact with commercial success for its shareholders.In order to strengthen our capacities in internal auditing, we are seeking to recruit a: EXPERIENCED AUDITOR

Your main responsibilities will consist in:
•Assisting the Head of Internal Audit in the execution of his/her functions;
•Leading process-based audit engagements in accordance with the annual audit plan and in compliance with the ProCredit Group Audit standards (identify, assess and report risks, propose solutions and monitor the implementation of agreed actions);
•Performing ad hoc engagements when requested;
•Developing risk-based audit programs;
•Day-to-day monitoring of the progress made during the audit engagements and reporting to the Head of Internal Audit Department;
•Reviewing the audit team members’ work on a daily basis in order to ensure the required quality, accuracy and objectivity; provide feedback, technical guidance and tutorials when necessary;
•Ensuring that the work performed is clearly and completely documented in the relevant internal forms and work papers and adequately supports the conclusions drawn;
•Drafting detailed and structured audit reports including findings, risk assessments and recommendations;
•Proposing and implementing tools for the optimization of the Internal Audit Department work.

If you identify with the goals and ethical values of our company, are curious about other countries and cultures, and have the following qualifications:
•University degree, preferably in Business Studies or Economics;
•At least three years of relevant work experience, with at least two years of experience in auditing;
•Good understanding of the banking law and other relevant external regulations;
•Very good understanding of internal control systems;
•Proven ability to systematically and logically analyze information;
•Willingness and ability to learn and to improve continuously;
•Very good communication skills;
•Very good ability to work in a team and under pressure;
•Excellent command of English language (spoken and written);
•Very good command of MS Office;
•Accounting/auditing certification such as ACCA, CFA, CPA or CIA will be highly appreciated.
