SMALL BUSINESS LENDING OFFICER SHKODRA BRANCH
SIGNATURE CATEGORY: Type B.

The Branch Small Business Lending Officer (SBL Officer) establishes, develops, manages and maintains good relationships with customers under the responsibility of the Branch and Small Business Banking Department, while coordinating with the other Departments, Sections and Branches of the Bank the provisions of proper services customers. The SBL officer reports with a solid line to the Branch Manager and with a dotted line to the SBB Department Manager.

MAIN DUTIES:
The Branch SBL Officer represents the bank in contacts undertaken with the existing or potential business customers of the Bank in the areas that are designated to be under their responsibility. He / she initiates business meetings, participates in these meetings and identifies the needs of business customers, which are further analyzed and served with Bank’s products and services.
The Branch SBL Officer ensures the achievement of quantitative and qualitative targets and others objectives related to the development of small business banking, targets that are allocated by the Retail Banking Business Unit Manager and distributed to both Branch Network Division and Small Business Banking Department.
Maps potential business customers and generate leads for further contacts.
Plans the sales activity, meetings with existing and potential customers and on- site visits.
Provides assistance for new business customers in terms of opening accounts, performing transactions, utilizing Bank’s products and taking financial advice.
Identifies the customer business needs for banking services and products, and conveys such information to the responsible units of the Bank in order to match them.
Follows up activities in the local market and initiatives taken by competition in order to identify additional chances for further progress.
Ensures increased income through enhancing the cooperation with current customers and attracting new customers.
Reports on periodical and ad hoc basis to the branch Manager and the SBB department Manager regarding the daily activity, business actions and projects assigned, as well as on numerical targets achieved, as per the initial or revised allocation by his reporting line.
Identifies the needs for financing coming from potential or existing customers.
Conveys the needs for financing of customer segments that are not within own responsibility, to the responsible business unit, division or department within the Bank, as per acts and procedures in force.
Maintains responsibility for the quality of credit facilities allocated under own portfolio.
May participate in the Credit Committee’s in order to provide information and submit customer’s request, jointly with a credit analyst or any other authorized representative of RBBU.
Monitors the business relationship with the customers belonging to the SBL Segment in terms of volume, number of transactions and implementation of conditions derived from credit decisions.
Monitors the payment incidents, and past due amounts and proceeds to the required actions in cooperation with the Non – Performing Loans Wholesale.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking or other relevant field.
Master degree is an advantage.
Excellent command of Albanian and English language.
MS Office Package.
At least 3 years of related experience (of which 2 years in the banking sector at similar position).
Knowledge on commercial business field, financial statements and their interpretation, business strategy and business administration.
