The Company: LocalEyes is a leading provider of Localisation Services to the international computer and software sectors, with European headquarters established in Cork since 1998. Applicants are invited to apply for the following position: VENDOR MANAGER Location: Tirana Position Type: This is a full-time position Start date: As soon as possible The position: The successful applicant will assume responsibility for recruiting, managing and improving the vendor and resources pool for all allocated languages. The Vendor Manager is a proactive member of the Vendor Management team and s/he is responsible for the full life-cycle selection process; recruit, screen and test vendors and candidates according to the needs and requirements of the business. S/he is responsible for the following: identify, screen, select, evaluate, qualify, negotiate rates/terms/conditions and recommend the right resources at the right time within the right budget by using both conventional and creative sourcing methods, techniques and tools. Among others, main specific responsibilities include: Recruit, manage and improve the vendor and resources pool for all allocated languages, across all company business units. Maintain vendor pool database (contact information, availability, areas of expertise, rate negotiation, rate mappings, override requests, etc.). Ensure all associated documentation is kept secured and up to date. Provide support to allocate vendors best qualified for the nature of each project and within the allocated budget. Assess vendors with respect to overall LocalEyes business strategy. Support in anticipating and dealing with any vendor issues. Search new localisation resources using all available channels, including but not limited to freelancers portals, universities and current vendor referrals. Serve as an expert for selecting and testing vendors at global level. Seek innovative and cost-effective solutions in vendor management activities. Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of vendor management goals. Prepare Service Level Agreements. Maintain memberships and affiliation with trade/professional organizations related to industry. Create and maintain records, reports and other business strategic information. Requirements: University degree. Excellent written and spoken English skills. Strong communication, negotiation, organisational and interpersonal skills. Problem solver and Ability to work quickly Ability to predict future need based on yearly trends, short-term consumer demand and other factors. Time Management. Initiative, persuasive, persistent and patient. Availability to travel. Will be considered as a plus: Human Resources Capacity. Excellent spoken Italian.
